During the month of December Teddies/Puppies/Bears are distributed to many shops, factories and other places of work. The Soft Toys are distributed to business premises across the town by the Galway Lions Club as part of our annual appeal to raise funds for the work we do throughout the year for the people of Galway.

Shop keepers and businesses are invited to take a teddy and a draw card and encouraged to ask shoppers and staff to buy a line or two.

The Teddy Bear appeal has been a popular fund raiser for the Galway Lions Club for over 20 years where, with public support we raised approximately €8,000 per annum.
