The Galway Lions Club has been serving Galway for over 50 years, has between 45 and 50 members. We meet on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7.30pm in the Ardilaun Hotel and are always looking for new members.

Lions Club members are men and women like you, who strive to make a difference in their local community as well as in communities worldwide. Clubs members volunteer their time to try and improve the quality of lives of their local community through fund raising and service activity. All money received goes straight to those in need, as all members pay a membership fee, which is used to covers club administration costs.

Why should I become a Lion Club member?

As a member, you can:

• provide support locally or reach out internationally
• grow personally and professionally by participating in our programs,  community service projects and events
• have an impact on local and international humanitarian issues
• develop relationships with both local and international community and business leaders.
