2025 November Swim in aid of Hand in Hand
For over 20-years Lions Clubs in Galway have organised a sponsored swim, during the month of November. Individual club members and friends braving the cold seas, to raise money for our causes. In our November 2025 swim we raised €21,333 for Hand in Hand.
November 2025 Swim supporting: 
- Hand in Hand, is a Galway based national charity, dedicated to supporting families facing the unimaginable challenge of a childhood cancer diagnosis. When a child is unwell, everyday life doesn’t stop, but it can become overwhelming. Hand in Hand steps in to ease that burden, providing practical and emotional support so parents can focus on what maters most, theirs child’s health and wellbeing.
- Hand in Hand delivers services that make a huge difference in the lives of families at their most vulnerable. From household cleaning, laundry and family meal deliveries, to play therapy and counselling, Hand in Hand makes sure that no family has to face this journey alone. Their vision is that every family across Ireland has access to the care and support they need, right when they need it most.
- Hand in Hand do the ordinary when families face the extraordinary.
